There are four levels a student can attain as a part of the DDC School of Music Program. These levels are: bronze, silver, gold and platinum. The student shall complete the following curriculum to achieve these levels:

Bronze Level

1) The student should know Minimum Theory Requirements 1 six Lessons and pass by 75%.

2) The student should participant in at least one recital or student showcase.

3)    a) The student should demonstrate 4 scales with accompanying etudes.
       b) The student should demonstrate rudiments: all Rolls and Paradiddles. (Percussions).

4) The student must have two consecutive entries out of three months into the practice drawing.

Silver Level

5) The student should participate in at least one music field trip.

6)    a) The student should be able to demonstrate four chords.
       b) The student should be able to demonstrate four arpeggios.

7) The student should have completed one method book.

8) The student should have completed Minimum Theory Requirements 1 by Alfred Publishing.

Gold Level

9) The student should demonstrate the review of requirements 1-8 and Music Theory Book 2 by Alfred Publishing.

10) The student should participate in two recitals or student showcases.

11) The student should sight read two pieces of music.

12) The student should demonstrate four minor scales with the accompanying etudes.

Platinum Level

13) The student should have completed Music Theory Book 3 by Alfred Publishing.

14) The student should prepare and audition in the UIL All City/State competition.

15) The student should volunteer at a musical event held by DDC School of Music.

16) The student should be able to play a gig or teach or lesson.
